 I studied Human Development and Family Studies at Texas Tech, then got my Masters in Professional Counseling from Texas State. From the beginning, I was drawn to relational therapy because I've always believed that connection is at the heart of healing.

Before opening my private practice, I worked at a local Austin agency and a group practice. Both shaped me in ways I'm still grateful for. I've trained extensively in trauma-informed approaches including EMDR, as well as couples work, and I'm always looking for ways to keep growing.

For over a decade I worked in nonprofit settings with people from all walks of life. Some of the most meaningful work I've done has been with teenagers in the foster system and people navigating housing instability. Those experiences gave me a real understanding of trauma and how quietly it shapes the way we move through the world.

I believe the training matters, but honestly, what makes therapy work is the relationship. When you feel safe and truly seen, that's when something shifts. I'll show up with honesty, warmth, and a genuine investment in you every single session.

When I'm not in session, I'm probably on a patio with friends, taking a SoulCycle class, or curled up on the couch with my two cats Flo and Charlie and my Great Pyrenees Arlo. Also, traveling whenever I can sneak it in, and always on the hunt for the best sushi in Austin.

I've called Austin home for 15 years and I genuinely think it's the best city in Texas.
