I come to this work with a lot of genuine curiosity and care.
The relationship we build matters to me. Not as a formality, but because I think it's actually where a lot of the healing happens.
When you feel safe and not judged, something opens up. And that's what I'm always trying to create.
I also believe, pretty firmly, that people are more capable than they give themselves credit for. Most of the time they just need someone in their corner to help them see it.
My hope is that by the time we're done, you feel more connected to your own life and more of what makes it worth showing up for.

Therapy gives you something most of us don't have enough of: time that's just yours. No agenda, no performance, no having it all together. Just space to slow down and actually look at what's going on inside.
We'll figure things out together. In the first few sessions, I'll ask questions to try and better understand you, not just what brought you here, but who you are, how you think, what you've been through, and what you're hoping life could look like. It's less about fixing anything right away and more about me really getting to know you before we figure out where to go together.
You know yourself better than anyone. My job is to help you see the things that are harder to see on your own. The strengths you're not giving yourself credit for. The patterns that keep showing up. The possibilities that feel out of reach right now. A lot of what we do together is just helping things click into place.
I utilize a variety of modalities and tools to support you. Some of these include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and the Enneagram. I offer free 15 minute phone consultations where we can connect, get to know each other better, and address any questions you may have. It's an opportunity for us to assess if I can support you and for you to determine if it feels like the right fit.

During an EMDR session, I will help you concentrate on particular distressing memories or traumatic experiences while using bilateral stimulation. This technique aims to decrease the strong emotional impact linked to those memories, lessen negative beliefs and emotions, and encourage the integration of more helpful and positive thoughts and feelings.
EMDR is often used for conditions like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and grief. It aims to make you feel better by lessening the impact of past traumas and helping you move forward in a healthier way.
